LAST of the Random-Things...

Anyway, like most noral human worm-babies I spend way too much of my not-so-free time watching AMVs on FAILtube (Now they removed the audio from my most popular vid. Bastards) And, while I'm not gonna say I'm any kind of an expert, I HAVE seen a lot of the stuff. So, in my crazed, about to go to bed mindset, I thought I would share some of my favorites with the sort of public.

This woman and her wife do some of the most awesome AMVs I have come across. Most of them--I would say-- do a great job of putting together what clips there are and making them into something all their own. Not that it distorts the original but... I don't know. A few of them make me wish that they were their own series. I'll stop babbling now and inflict on you the video-filled juicey goodness.

[most of these have AT LEAST a hint of lesbian relationships in them, if that bothers you I would suggest moving to a planet where lesbians aren't.. Uranus isn't known for its lesbian population. >D *immature!Thetaisimmature*]

The first one and the last two are probably my favorites, at least give those a look.

Speaking of fandom (aren't I always?) our film class just watched a rather fantastic movie. It was the sort of experience where your brain is still absorbing what you saw hours after it's over. (Of course, the ending might send you into shock for a few hours on its own--I'm afraid to go to sleep at night. ><)

And, of course, as you process things you notice some obvious details that you missed... and that's exactly what happened to me. So. Let me get this out of my system before I have to discuss the film fer srs.

OMG SNOW! (part 2)

So, it started last night... [lets skip over the "Hmm, someone's got a fire going...that's a lot of ash... DID SOMETHING BLOW UP!?!?! *opens window* what?....What?....What?!...o_0" spazz fest]

yup

there it is

being all snowy and dark.

And then it STOPPED being dark in the morning. [it does that on this planet sometimes, weird, huh?]

And there was all this white stuff on the ground.

lookit that!

I mean

It's all there and stuff!

On the not so bright side, the snow meant they closed a few lines on the tube--which means complete and utter chaos as is-- and STOPPED BUS SERVICE. *flails*

Now, logic told me that if transit was almost completely on hold because of the unexpected!epic!Londonsnow our classes would be canceled, most schools were off and lots of the admin and professors (Including the Almighty Tallest) come in by train (Which also wasn't going)

Then my logic helpfully pointed out that if I was wrong NYUL would hunt me down and do something perminint. So I put on some shirts and some pants, enjoyed an ice-cool glass of WIN--
